Comfort and Hope - Card For Comfort

This card was made intended to be a card for comfort and hope for someone going through hard and difficult times.  I've also thought that it could be used for a masculine birthday card just by changing the greetings on the card face and inside.  

This card used Pretty Peacock and White card stock as the card base and liner.  The stamp set that was used is Stampin' Up!'s Comfort and Hope stamp set with inks of Pretty Peacock, Soft Sea Foam, and Blushing Bride.  The Painted Texture embossing folder adds some interest to the liner, especially when brushed with the new blending brushed that Stampin' Up! offers in the new mini catalog.  The Tailored Tag punch provides a home for the card face greeting, but any punch can be used as long as it fits the stamp used.  Hope you like this easy but subtle and beautiful card.

 

All Things Fabulous Birthday Card

A feminine birthday card done in Highland Heather card stock with floral accents of Highland Heather and Melon Mambo. Stitched So Sweetly dies and Fabulous Floral dies are combined as shown to make this framed card face.  The stamp set are Stampin' Up!'s All Things Fabulous and Dragonfly Garden.  

 

Art Gallery Stamp Set, 2021

 

This is a very simple but beautiful card to make to celebrate a birthday. Using Purple Posy as the card base, I added a Highland Heather liner and Designer Series Paper second liner. Stamped the Image of a flower trio from the Art Gallery stamp set twice with Purple Posy ink and colored the floral lines within the flower with Blends. Colored the stems and leaves with Old Olive Blends and added a simple bow, tying both flower bunches together.

I never make a card in a square shape so I thought I'd try making one using the Dandelion Wishes stamp set. The dandelion flowers has four layers cut with the Dandy Wishes dies that match the stamp. Additional dandelion leaves enhanced the "bouquet" and with adding a couple of vellum floral images, the front of the card was made. I used Daffodil Delight as a card base with Old Olive cardstock liner and the Dandy Garden Designer Series Paper is the center of attention.

Card Base - 4 1/4 x 8 1/2; Score at 4 1/4

Liner - Old Olive, 3 3/4 x 3 3/4

Liner - Daffodil Delight, 3 1/4 x 3 1/4

Liner- Dandy Garden Designer Series Paper, 3 x 3

Vellum - cut two flower images from vellum as shown in the card.

Old Olive card stock- Cut four dandelion leaf images, two large and two small with dies

Basic White Card Stock- Stamp the single dandelion image on the card stock with black Memento ink and cut out with matching die.

Stamp bumble bee with Memento black ink on Basic White paper and color with Daffodil Delight Blend.

Cut two sets of dandelion flowers (four layers) from the Dandy Wishes Dies with Daffodil Delight card stock. Cut two flowers (second largest flower die) with the Daffodil Delight card stock. Take the single dandelion flower and add the two medium sized flower die over the stamped flower and adhere with glue tape. Assemble the die cut dandelion flowers and separate with dimensionals, layering on top of each other. Make two flowers. Assemble the flowers and the dandelion flower image in "bouquet' style and add the leaves and the vellum flowers. At the base of the assembled "bouquet" add a simple bow, tying the "bouquet" together. Add the bumble bee to the flower on a dimensional.
