As we are getting closer each day to the new Occasions Catalog and Sale-a-Bration, I thought I'd post another simple card that can be made from the "Helping Me Grow" stamp set, available for purchase on January 5th. The daisies are so fresh and spring-like, I just had to see them on a card face.
I used the large oval framelit to cut out the stamped daisies images from the stamp set using black ink. I used a blender pen to color in the daisies using Daffodil Delight and used the pen to also color in the stems using Old Olive. The centers of the daisies arre colored in Baked Brown Sugar. I also stamped the scrolled banner image from the stamp set in Old Olive and "sweet you" in the center also in Old Olive and hand cut it out. The liner paper was embossed using the Elegant Dots embossing folder on Pear Pizzazz card stock. The choice of paper and ink colors just remind me of Spring. I added a simple bow in Daffodil Delight and you are done...an easy and beautiful card for your class or add to your stash !
