Happy Easter Card

Thinking about the Easter holiday in about a month, I decided it was time to create something for a card to send greetings for the holiday.  I came up with this card, using two stamp sets, "Indescribable Gift" and "Remarkable You".

I used vellum paper which I stamped with Versamark and embossed with white embossing powder.  I also embossed the leaves with white embossing powder.  I added Blushing Bride and Pear Pizzazz on the back side of the vellum with daubers to make the color subtle.  I also used the Crushed Curry marking pen to color the stamens of the lillies.   I hand cut all of the flowers and the leaves and added them to Whisper White card stock.  I started with the first flower at the top of the page and attached them with dimentionals that I cut to fit.  With layers of flowers and leaves, I was able to hide the dimentionals and tried to get them all to look like they were a bouquet.  The "Happy Easter" greeting was from the Remarkable You stamp set which was embossed with Blushing Bride embossing powder.  I used the Banner Triple punch to create the banner which covered all the open stems to achieve the bouquet I was looking for.  The face of the card was placed on Blushing Bride cardstock and then was attached to the front of the card.

Hope you like this card and would like your comments.  Thanks for taking a peek!

Sincerely,
Barb Kapla
