SWEET YOU Birthday Card

After purchasing a few new stamp sets during the Sale - A - Bration (SAB) pre-order period, I decided to get to work and make some cards in advance for future classes. Although simple, I found this a very pretty card at its completion.  It uses the "Helping Me Grow" stamp set available from Stampin' Up during their once a year sale..Sale A Bration! So here's the recipe on how to put this card together:

  • Card Base = standard 4 1/4 in. x 5 1/2 inches cut from Whisper White card stock..
  • Liner = Pear Pizzazz card stock, cut to 4 in.  5 1/4 in.Emboss the liner in "Elegant Dots" embossing folder.
  • Stamp the daisy pattern stamp on Whisper White card stock in Basic Black ink.
  • Using blender pens, color in the flowers in Daffodil Delight ink and Old Olive ink for the leaves and stems, then using the largest oval framelit, use the Big Shot to cut out the oval shape.
  • On Whisper White card stock, stamp the "sweet you" stamp in Old Olive ink and fussy cut it out.
  • Add a bow made from Daffodil Delight Ribbon and you are done!

I think the card is simply beautiful and it will make a great any occasion card for a lucky recipient. Below are the Stampin' Up products I used to put this card together.  If you would like to purchase these items you can use my Hostess Code when you order from me on the Stampin' Up web site,
