"Let's Celebrate Your Day"
Flourishing Phrases Framelit Set
Bunch of Blossms Stamp Set
Hello Stampin' Friends!

Sending my sincerest apologies for my lengthy absence but it was unavoidable.  Was hospitalized but now am on the mend.  So getting back to what we all love, I have given you a sample of my class card for last week.  This card is essentially a birthday greeting card made with the "Flourish" framelits from Stampin' Up.  Here's the tutorial:

  • Card stock base is 5 1/2 x 4 1/4.  The card above is done in Sweet Sugar Plum.
  • The mat layer is 4 x 5 1/4 and is made with Soft Sky card stock.
  • The stamping layer is stamped in the background with dots from the stamp set which were "stamped off" to give only a slight effect all over the Whisper White card stock.
  • The floral flourish the border and the background for the label was done in Sweet Sugar Plum
  • The flowers were cut out from Soft Sky.  I added a few sequins I had in various colors to add a little bling to the card.
  • The greeting on the front of the card is from the "Bunch of Blossoms" stamp set.
This card was a big hit with my class and they found it easy to make.  If you follow the directions and use the framelits, please use the precision plate to cut them out.  You will find yourself less frustrated trying to remove the small flower pieces if you use the plate.

I hope you like my card today and I hope you'll take the time to make it.  I've added the supplies used to make this card.  Feel free to order off my blog or my Stampin' Up Web page.  Hope to post another card opportunity soon.  Until then, Happy Stamping!
