Summer is waning and the hints of fall are in the air. I just wanted to make a card to celebrate the fall season and this is what I came up with. Liked it so much that it will be the class card for this Tuesday's class. This is an easy to make fall season card with "thankful" as a greeting, surely to delight the recipient. So the following ingredients are what you need to make this beautiful card for fall.

The cards you see are ones that I have made after acquiring the new holiday catalog from Stampin' Up. The catalog will be available to the public for viewing and purchase on Sept. 2nd.
This catalog has to be one of the best catalogs that Stampin' Up has come out with in the past four years since I became a Demonstrator. There are many framelits that accompany the beautiful stamps making this catalog a wonderful source for Halloween and Christmas card making.
In all of the cards with the pine cones, the elements of the card design are cut out with the framelits available. I especially love the evergreen branches cut out of Pear Pizzazz paper and Garden Green paper.
The card with the stamped images of the evergreen branches give the maker options to change up the cards to their liking. The pine cones are fully or partially cut out with framelits, making this addition a very pretty addition to whatever the crafter is creating.
The reindeer card has a couple of cute options, like the wreath that was applied around the deer's neck, cut out with framelits. The tall tree in the background was stamped on Old Olive card stock and then colored with Whisper White ink with a dauber to give the appearance of branches laden with snow. Then glue and Dazzling Diamonds glitter was applied to add some sparkle to the snow.
I hope you enjoy these new cards from the catalog and I will be posting more cards as they are made! I have tried to make at least four different card designs with one stamp set to show the versatility of each set and decrease your cost per use, making them a 'worth your money' purchase. Having loads of fun doing these for my upcoming OPEN HOUSE on August 28th. For more information, please send me an email and I will be happy to answer any questions you may have. If you would like to purchase items from the catalog, just click on the Stampin' Up link on the right side of this page and you will be taken to the ordering homepage.
